Vizii Urban to take care of Bauska’s urban environment

Starting from 1 August 2023, Vizii Urban, an urban maintenance company, will maintain the urban environment of the town of Bauska, informs Valdis Purvinskis, the company’s Chairman of the Board.  

Vizii Urban won the contract by participating in a public procurement and making the most economically advantageous bid. The agreement has been signed for a year, with a possibility to extend it for another three years.

“In every town we operate we hire a team of local professionals who make sure the town’s urban cleaning and maintenance requirements are met in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Both our staff and equipment are ready to start providing the services. I would like to thank Vides serviss, the company which until now maintained Bauska’s urban environment, for their cooperation in attracting knowledgeable and experienced workers,” says Purvinskis.

Purvinskis also praised the decision of Bauska’s administration to organize an open tender and outsource urban maintenance services thus making a positive impact on the whole industry. This will also set an example for other municipalities which seek to manage their resources more efficiently.

Within the town’s borders, Vizii Urban will provide a wide range of services—cleaning of sidewalks, town squares, green spaces, street sides, roads, grass mowing, snow cleaning, leave removal in fall, and other seasonal works.

Vizii Urban currently takes care of the urban environment in Riga, Liepāja, Tukums, Jūrmala, Babīte, Rēzekne, Sigulda, and Cēsis.

Vizii Urban will employ close to 20 people in Bauska. The company employs a total of 220 people all over Latvia.
