CleanR Grupa allocates nearly quarter of million euros to help employees tackle soaring energy prices
Starting November, CleanR Grupa adds extra money on more than 800 workers’ paychecks to help them tackle the rise in electricity and heating prices. The support will be received by drivers, janitors, cleaners, waste sorters, and other workers. Employee well-being is the Group’s top priority, therefore, to help its staff cope with the rise in energy prices this winter, the Group has decided on providing additional support.
To help its workers cover the rise in their monthly expenses, the Group’s companies will pay its staff additionally a total of 80 000 euros a month. Currently, the decision has been made to provide the staff with extra money in November, December, and January. CleanR Grupa puts employees and social responsibility at its focal centre, therefore providing additional support is only natural. The support provided by CleanR Grupa in the three months will amount to a total of nearly a quarter of a million euros.
“This is not the first time we provide our workers and their families with social benefits, and we are planning to do it in the future. Our staff are the people who represent the company and our services daily, therefore it is of utmost importance to lend them a helping hand at the time of energy crises. We are glad to be able to provide our people and their families with the much-needed support that will cushion the blow of energy crises,” explains Elita Tīlīte-Kārkle, Head of Human Recourse at CleanR Grupa.
The companies of CleanR Grupa provide their employees with health insurance and targeted support in various life situations, thus building a safety cushion for an extra sense of stability. Additionally, the Group takes care of its workers daily by making consistent workspace improvements, purchasing new vehicles and equipment, as well as introducing incentives schemes.
In the wake of the energy crises, CleanR Grupa reviewed its resource consumption habits and called on its staff to generate ideas on energy saving strategies. The ideas were then presented to the whole staff to find ways how to, individually and collectively, save energy and survive these difficult times.
