CleanR Grupa receives Sustainable Governance Award 2024

CleanR Grupa was awarded a prize in the Sustainable Governance Award 2024 category “Stakeholder Management Practitioner”. CleanR Grupa was praised for its outstanding performance in stakeholder engagement, which underpins the group’s business and sustainability strategy.  

 “Stakeholder engagement is one of CleanR Grupa’s priorities, as it not only paves the way for sustainable development of the group, but also creates a real value for the public. We are especially delighted to see that our most significant projects— Šūna, an environmental education pop-up site, Latvian Circular Economy Index, a unique tool for the state, local governments, and the public, and the industry forum “Environmental Services Transformation and Circular Economy—a Response to Climate Change” organized to have a debate with stakeholders on the topicalities and challenges of the environmental industry—have been recognized,” points out Agita Baltbārde, CleanR Grupa’s Member of the Board.

The Sustainable Governance Award was created by the Corporate Governance Advisory Board in cooperation with the Bank of Latvia and the Ministry of Justice.  The award aims to foster the sustainability of Latvian businesses and implementation of the Latvian Corporate Governance Code at Latvian companies, thus increasing their efficiency and long-term worth, as well as publicly recognizing companies with sustainable governance models.

The Latvian Sustainable Governance Award is given in four categories—Diversity and Equal Opportunities, Strategic Involvement of the Council, Stakeholder Management Practitioner, and Responsible Cooperation with Partners.
